Our Labor Council is a hybrid committee which exists to serve as a networking hub for labor unions and workers in the area. With over 40 members and union leaders from around the state serving as advisors, our council serves to:
- advocate for unionized labor
- connect all union members for rapid-response when necessary
- educate our communities about the benefits of unionized workplaces
- provide technical and material support for unions operating in the area
- provide skilled oversight over community workplaces violating employee rights and flouting labor laws
- serve as an advisory resource for all workers who have questions or concerns about their jobs or workplaces
